African American Alliance Network (AAAN)

The Middle School African American Alliance Network (“AAAN”) is a group of parents that works with school administrators, teachers and students to support knowledge, understanding and appreciation of African American heritage and culture, and to build a community that helps to enrich the experiences of the African American student body at Canyon. Any adult in the Canyon community is welcome to participate in this group, and we particularly encourage parents/caregivers of students of African American heritage to join our group. Meetings will be held in October, December, February, and April on selected Wednesdays starting at 6:30 pm in the Canyon Library
