When you opt in to the KCS Communty Group, the types of communications you will receive will typically pertain to districtwide events and activities, as well as urgent/emergency alerts surrounding safety and security issues and calamity day ("snow day") notifications.
If you would like to receive building-specific communications and alerts, please opt in to any school listed below, and you will become a member of that school's "Community Group."
Please note -- Parents/Guardians listed in their child(ren)'s PowerSchool account DO NOT need to also sign up for district or individual building Community Groups. As the parent/guardian listed in your child's PowerSchool Account, you are automatically going to recieve all district notifications and emergency alerts, as well as communications and emergency alerts sent by your chid(ren)'s school.
