Road Closure - Deberry's Mill Road - April 13-17, 2026
During the week of April 13-17, 2026, Deberry's Mill Road will be closed between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (weather permitting) each day between Lake Road (the western intersection) and the intersection of Deberry's Mill Road and NC Highway 35. Please see the map below for exact locations of where the road will close as well as the detour route. This is due to the NC Department of Transportation needing to replace three pipes under the roadway.

Spring Break - Friday, April 3, 2026 through Friday,...
Northampton County Schools will have an Early Release Day on Thursday, April 2, 2026 for all students. Students will dismiss at 12:00 p.m. Students will be out of school on Spring Break from Friday, April 3rd through Friday, April 10th. It is a holiday for staff on Friday, April 3rd. On Monday, April 6th and Tuesday, April 7th, it will be an Optional Teacher Workday for staff. Wednesday, April 8th through Friday, April 10th are Annual Leave Days for staff. All students and staff will return to school on Monday, April 13th. Have a great break!

2025-26 Indicator 8 Parent Survey
What is the Parent Survey? This is an annual survey of parents of children receiving special education. It is an opportunity to report how well your school system includes you in the IEP process and the education of your child. Your response matters! Your response lets the State and your district know how well they are doing or how they can improve parent involvement. Did you know? Your response is anonymous. Registration for both Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year has started! This year, both registration events will be held at the same time at specific locations and times listed on the flyers below. Enrollment requirements are listed on the specific flyers. Junior High Football Interest Meeting
Attention Rising 7th–9th Grade Football Parents! Northampton County Football is gearing up for an exciting upcoming season, and we are inviting all parents of rising 7th, 8th, and 9th grade student-athletes who are interested in playing Junior High Football to attend an important informational meeting. Thursday, March 5, 2026 5:00 P.M Northampton County High School Gym This meeting will cover: - Program expectations and team standards - Summer workouts and conditioning schedule - Eligibility requirements and physical forms - Equipment and practice information - Parent involvement and communication - Academic expectations for student-athletes - Season schedule overview Our goal is to build a strong foundation of discipline, teamwork, and academic excellence as we prepare our young athletes for success both on and off the field.
