Annual Military-Connected Student Survey 2025-26
Dear Parent or Guardian, In an effort to ensure that the unique needs of military-connected students are met, Session Law 2014-15 requires the North Carolina State Board of Education/North Carolina Department of Public Instruction to collect information on military-connected students. Â The goal is to help accommodate these students by providing them with support and consistency when their parents are deployed, when they are transitioning between schools, and at other pivotal times during their academic career. Â This mandatory collection started in the 2015-16 school year. Â The Session Law 2014-15 that describes this requirement can be accessed at: http://www.ncleg.net/Ses.../2013/Bills/House/PDF/H1060v3.pdf . If you or a member of your family is in the military, please fill out the following survey: Â https://forms.gle/cAcQzfS4rvUuVqjz5

Parent Portal Activation Information
Dear Parents/Guardians, We are excited to announce the Infinite Campus Parent Portal is now live for you to set up an account!  We appreciate your patience waiting for access as the rollout was in different stages throughout the state. Here are the procedures for setting up a user account: 1.  If you have an email address on file with us, you may have received an email message already with instructions for setting up an account.  Please check your email before proceeding to step #2 in case you did receive the message. 2.  If you did not receive an email, go to the NCSIS Parent Portal Activation Code Lookup system at https://portalaccess.ncsis.gov/ to obtain your code to create an account (we highly suggest you copy the code or write it down so you can paste/type it in Step #4 because you will definitely need that code). 3.  After you go to that website and obtain the activation code, go to the Northampton County Schools website, click "Parent/Student Portal" at the top, and click on "Campus Parent". 4.  Click "New User?" at the bottom, type in the activation key (code), and click submit. 5.  You will receive a "Success!" message once you have successfully created your account.  You should now be able to login to the system. A support email address has been set up specifically for any issues setting up an account or if there are password issues.  Please DO NOT contact your child's school for assistance with any Parent Portal issues as they will not be able to assist you.  The email address to contact for support is:  parentportal@northampton.k12.nc.us - please allow up to 24 hours to receive assistance. Attached is a guide to help you visually through the process should you need it.  We hope this tool will assist you with keeping up with your student's progress in school!
