Hello SKUSD Families, Tuesday, May 13th, is the final class in the Parent and Community Center “Caregiver Education Series”! These classes have been carefully structured to educate our student's family members, guardians, and school staff, while also bringing everyone together in a space where they can ask questions and create supportive relationships with one another. The topic is: "What's Next"? - Managing Life After High School This class is designed for families navigating the transitional period after high school. "What’s Next?" explores the social-emotional challenges families may face, how to support young adults in managing new schedules and responsibilities, and the wide range of opportunities available—whether college, trade programs, gap years, or entering the workforce. Parents will gain tools, resources, and strategies to help guide and empower their children during this pivotal life stage. There are still spaces available! Don't miss this opportunity. You can R.S.V.P. by following this link: Caregiver Education Series - R.S.V.P. If you need assistance, (or you would like to register by phone), please call (661) 256-5000 Ext. 1215.
