  • RES Drama Club Presents Finding Nemo Kids on April 10th

    Hello, RES Drama Club is performing NEXT THURSDAY! Our students have been hard at work to put on their performance of Finding Nemo Kids!  The performance will be Thursday, April 10th at 6:30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend and entry is FREE! Seats for the performance are limited so make sure to arrive early!  We will have popcorn and snacks available for purchase.  Our students are super excited to share this  Big Blue World with you! We hope to see you there!

    Hello SKUSD Families, The SKUSD Parent & Community Center has partnered with Schools First Federal Credit Union to offer you FREE Financial Literacy Workshops ! When: Wednesday, February 26th, 2025 - "Personal Fraud Awareness" Wednesday, March 26th, 2025 - "Family Financial Trivia Night" Time: English Workshop: 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM Spanish Workshop: 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM Where:  In Person: SKUSD Parent & Community Center - 2800 Rosamond Blvd., Rosamond, CA 93560 Zoom Link: https://schoolsfirstfcu-org.zoom.us/j/8616248444 Childcare will be provided for the in-person option. Directions: The Parent and Community Center is located between Rare Earth High School and Rosamond High Early College Campus, not at the District Office. Parking in the Rare Earth High School parking lot is the most convenient option. Once parked, the Parent & Community Center is the first building on the sidewalk as you walk away from the parking lot towards Rosamond High Early College Campus.     Hello, The Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) is an education and spending plan with an approximate budget of $19 million. The LCAP Committee works with the administration to create this plan, and joining this committee offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the District. If you're interested in contributing to the development of the 2025-26 LCAP, we invite you to attend our first meeting on Thursday, March 6th, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM. The meeting will be held at the Parent Community Center and will also be accessible via Zoom.     Military and First Responders Appreciation Tuesday Feb 4, 2025 ⋅ 6:30pm – 7:30pm (Pacific Time - Los Angeles) This is a special time to recognize our military, veterans, and first responders during our home basketball game with Boron.  There will be special recognition of local individuals including deceased who have been part of the Rosamond community.  Please share with those who may be interested in attending.  The State Corrections Honor Guard will present the colors.  Those in uniform will not be charged game admission.
