MHS One Act Play Advances to Bi-District Contest
Our MHS One Act Play cast and crew have advanced to the UIL Bi-District Championship contest! Best of luck to them as they perform on Monday, March 24th, at Connally High School. Performance time is 3:15pm. Cast and crew members are Olivia Shaffer, Daniel Barnett, Hayden Ozee, Michael Denn, Lesley Garcia, Adalyn McClure, Mario Aviles, Maggie King, Diego Reyes Gonzalez, Brianna Plew, Carolina Waters, Jadyn Austin, Lydia Gonzalez, Kaleigh Hanchard, Marciana Olvera, Samuel Vogas, Cherish Roque, and Devida Anderson. Directors are Tim Grace and Veronica Smith.

MHS Powerlifters Advance to Regionals
Congratulations to our MHS girls and boys powerlifting teams! Our girls will compete at the Regional Meet on March 1st at Dublin High School. Central TX Science and Engineering Award Winners
Isbill Jr. High and McGregor High School students competed in the Central Texas Science and Engineering Fair on February 11th. All six students advanced to compete in the Texas Science and Engineering Fair in College Station in March. Gracelynn Singer has also qualified to compete at the International Science and Engineering Fair in Columbus, Ohio, in May. Mabry Miller was named the alternate to ISEF. A special recognition goes to Mabry Miller for receiving the Central Texas Science and Engineering Fair’s most prestigious award—the Bryce C. Brown Award for Outstanding Young Scientist. This marks the third consecutive year an MHS student has earned this distinguished honor (Gracelynn Singer/2024, Kaylee George/2023). We are proud of our students and wish them the best of luck in their upcoming competitions. MHS Art Students Qualify for State VASE
On February 15th, twenty six McGregor High School student artists competed at the VASE Art competition which is a UIL-equivalent contest. Our student artists submitted twenty eight artworks and twenty three of those pieces received regional medals! Out of that group, five pieces received area medals and those artists have qualified for the State VASE competition.
