Police will be on campus to assist with the evacuation and student transportation. Please do not be alarmed; this drill is part of our ongoing training to prepare everyone for emergencies. The South Side School District is committed to providing students and staff with a safe and healthy environment. School Safety

Parents, The district received a generic threat of violence. Please know that the safety and well-being of our students and staff is our top priority, and we immediately took action to address the situation.   School officials, in collaboration with local law enforcement, thoroughly investigated the threat. Out of an abundance of caution, we will continue to work closely with law enforcement to monitor the situation. As always, our district remains committed to maintaining a safe and secure learning environment. We understand the concern this news may cause, and we encourage you to speak with your children to reassure them that their safety is our priority. Football Game Information

Parents, The first football game is this Friday, September 6 at Hendrix.  Below is a picture containing information about parking, gate entrance, and seating.  Game times have been changed.  The junior high game will start at 5:30 p.m., the senior high game will start at 7:00 p.m., and the gate will open at 4:30 p.m.

The kitchen will be open Tuesday, September 3, through Saturday, September 7. The hours are after school, and you can stay as late as you would like on weekdays. Our district is providing school supplies to all students. This support ensures every child has the tools to succeed, making education more inclusive and reducing the financial burden on families. ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ Junior High Cheerleading ​ Students in grades 7 through 9 interested in cheerleading are encouraged to join our junior high team this season. We welcome all skill levels and provide training to help you. Interested students may contact Mrs. Driver at sdriver@southsidebb.org or the high school office. ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ Car Rider Lines ​ The district is always trying to improve procedures across the campus to help with campus safety and flow. We are adding a drop-off line for high school students in the morning. Elementary students will still be dropped off in the circle drive. Please use the north and south entrances to campus for entering only in the morning. All traffic exiting campus in the morning must use the main entrance by the electronic sign. A campus map with traffic flow has been provided and marked. This change will allow buses and students to enter campus from Highway 65 safely. Thank you for understanding and working with us as we work to improve the district. ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ Open House ​ The South Side Bee Branch School District is hosting an open house event featuring delicious food and fun bounce houses for the whole family. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and greet the teachers, making it a great chance to get acquainted with the staff.
