Action Required: Google Apps Consent Form Due by Mar...
Dear Families, The Cuyahoga Falls City School District utilizes Google Workspace for Education to support the educational and instructional needs for District students. There is a recent change in Google’s policies regarding their non-core services, which Google refers to as “Additional Services,” which are online applications owned and operated by Google. For many years, students have had access to Google’s Additional Services, such as Google Bookmarks, Chrome Web Store, Google Earth, Google Books, CS First, Google Maps, Google My Maps, Google News, Google Photos, Google Play, Google Translate, Looker Studio, Material Gallery, and YouTube as part of their educational experience. However, school administrators were recently notified by Google that the company will now require parental consent for students under 18 years of age to continue using these Additional Services. Unfortunately, Google has given schools a short deadline of March 31, 2025, to comply with this new requirement, so we are working quickly to ensure compliance while minimizing disruption to student learning. By March 28, 2025, please complete the Google Apps Consent Form using the attached form in this ParentSquare post if you wish to allow your child to continue using Google’s Additional Services. Please note that if you do not complete the Google Apps Consent Form by March 31, 2025, your child will not be permitted to use Google Additional Services on your child’s school device. If your student will be 18 years old on or after March 31, you do not need to complete the form. If you would like more information regarding how Google utilizes user information, you can visit https://policies.google.com/privacy . You and your child can also visit https://myaccount.google.com while signed in to the Google Workspace for Education account to view and manage the personal information and settings of the account. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we navigate this change on short notice. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Director of Technology and Security, Ryan Huch at cf_huchr@cftigers.org or (330) 926-3800 ext. 502050. By completing this form by March 28, 2025, I expressly authorize: My child to participate, use, and submit Works for posting on Google Additional Services . The Cuyahoga Falls City School District to use, in whole or in part, my child’s personal information and/or Works in connection with Google Additional Services , without limitation, the posting of these Works on or through Google Additional Services . Release of the Cuyahoga Falls City School District and their respective officers, directors, agents and/or employees from and against any and all liability, loss, damage, costs, claims and/or causes of action arising out of or related to my child’s personal information and/or Works being posted on or through Google Additional Services and/or for my child participating and using Google Additional Services . I also understand that neither the Cuyahoga Falls City School District, nor its officers, directors, agents, or employees will provide any compensation to me or my child for posting the Works on or through Google Additional Educational Services . If you have more than one student in the district, please fill out the form for each student. Thank you!

Leadership Announcement for the 2025-26 School Year
Dear Black Tiger Families, We are pleased to announce that we have chosen our high school and middle school principals beginning with the 2025-26 school year. Mr. Jason Smith will serve as the principal of Cuyahoga Falls High School, and Mr. Dennis Oswald will serve as the principal of Cuyahoga Falls Middle School. Both have been instrumental in the planning process as we transition from three campuses into one, and their leadership will be invaluable as we take this historic step forward. As we transition to one middle school at the new 6-12 campus in January, Mr. Oswald will be spending time at both Roberts and Bolich during the first semester to collaborate with staff and students, ensuring a smooth and successful merger. We will continue to provide you with updates as we work toward finalizing our staff assignments.
