Pendergast Community Connection for the Week of 8-24...

Small Donations, Big Impact The 8th Grade Superintendent’s Student Council is once again partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona to turn everyday donations into something that makes a difference! Families and community members are invited to donate reusable items including clothing, shoes, purses, blankets, linens, towels, belts and draperies in the Big Brothers Big Sisters collection bins located on Pendergast campuses. Donated items are given a second life while supporting individuals and families in our community, and Big Brothers Big Sisters provides 10 cents per pound for the items collected. Funds raised help support our 8th Grade Superintendent’s Student Council activities, including their annual trip, Pillows for Kiddos and other student service projects. And as you can see,  Chef Sam is already doing her part!  If your family is cleaning out closets, consider filling a bag and dropping it off in one of our collection bins. Every donation counts, and together those small contributions can make a BIG impact! It’s another great way Pendergast is  Better Together, Stronger Tomorrow ! Diaper Duty: We've Got You Covered! The Pendergast Family Resource Center is a proud partner of the Arizona Diaper Bank and are able to provide an emergency supply of diapers to qualifying families. In order to keep class size manageable, registration is required for most activities. Monthly calendars have links to registration forms. Simply choose the activity of interest, click on the link, and complete the registration form. A PFRC team member will email and text confirmation of class participation on the Friday prior to the week of your chosen activity.
