Borderlands Produce on Wheels - Saturday, January 10

Borderlands Produce on Wheels Borderlands Produce On Wheels With-Out Waste Team  is hosting their monthly drive-thru produce distribution on Saturday, January 10 at  Pendergast Elementary School  from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.  Come out and do your part to help curb food waste. At our monthly Borderlands' events you can donate $15 (cash) to take home up to 70lbs of rescued produce. Participating in this program not only gets you an amazing haul of produce, but it also allows our non-profit to empty our warehouse and rescue the next million pounds of produce! This location will operate as a drive-thru, meaning you can get in line, in your car. A volunteer will collect your (minimum) $15 donation, and another volunteer will load your car up with that weeks up to 70lbs produce box. Champ Camp's Enrolling for Thanksgiving Break Champ Camp's Enrolling for Thanksgiving Break at Pendergast Elementary School! Join us during Thanksgiving break for  Champions Champ Camp . Families may register their child for one, two, or all three days of care. The program will include a variety of hands-on learning experiences and activities that keep students engaged in a safe, supportive environment while school is closed for the holiday break. Through the After School Supper Program , every child attending a Pendergast after school program receives a nutritious afternoon meal - absolutely  FREE . It’s one more way we’re supporting healthy minds and strong families in our community. Please reach out to the Cafeteria Manager at your school for more information. Pendergast Family Resource Center The Pendergast Family Resource Center offers monthly adult-child classes, family events, parent workshops, playgroups, and support groups for families with children aged birth to five. In order to keep class size manageable, registration is required for most activities. Monthly calendars have links to registration forms. Simply choose the activity of interest, click on the link, and complete the registration form. A PFRC team member will email and text confirmation of class participation on the Friday prior to the week of your chosen activity. If registration is closed for a class of interest, we encourage you to call us at 623-772-2339 to request waitlist placement.
