JHS Booster Club Meeting
Our first Booster Club meeting is Monday, September 15th. at 6:30pm in the JHS library. Our athletic program relies on the Booster Club for gear and extra expenses. It is a great way to support JHS and our students. Please attend. We need more people.. We look forward to seeing you there! Your Principal and Athletic Director

Fall Sports Kickoff Day Thank you!!!!
Jefferson Community, I just wanted to take some time to thank all of those that participated in any of the activities from the Fall Sports Kickoff Day on Saturday. We brought in $1378 in donations that will go toward the new Forrest Grizzel Track/Field/Stadium complex. It may have been one of the hottest days on record, but all of the coaches in the athletic department and myself really do appreciate all of you coming out in support of this project. Please mark on your calendars the Listening Session that will take place on Monday September 29th at 6:30pm in the JSD Event Center (Old MS Cafeteria). We want people's opinions on the 3 different sites we can place the track, what kind of turf do we want (synthetic or natural), and any other concerns or questions that come up. Go Lions! Final Fall Sports Kickoff Planning Meeting Tonight, August 18th at 6pm in the JHS Library. We are finishing up the details for this great event. If you feel like volunteering at the event we have plenty of spots available. Come to the meeting and find out more information!

Fall Sports Kickoff Day Schedule
Fall Sports Kickoff Day August 23, 2025 Schedule All Proceeds go to the Forrest Grizzel Field/Stadium/Track Project. All donations will be accepted as every dollar helps as we start this big project 8:00am – 10:00am – 5K Run Walk – Meet at the track Dog Friendly Spirit Packs for the first 50 people that register $20 per person Can Pre-Register here: https://or-jefferson-lite.intouchreceipting.com/JHSFallSportsRun It is also located on https://www.jefferson14j.com/ 10:00am – 12:00pm – Soccer Scrimmage and Penalty Kicks – Soccer Field Penalty Kicks for $1 to try to beat your favorite player from the penalty spot 10:00am – 2pm – Cheer Camp – Old MS Gym Coach Amber takes the kids and with the help of her team will go through basic cheer skills and practice a routine that will be done during halftime of the community Flag Football Game 12:00pm – 3:00pm – Kids Zone – Behind football stadium Bubble Station – Donations taken at the table Coloring Station – Donations taken at the table Face Painting – Donations taken at the table Fire Department Parks & Rec Table Drawings of the 3 options for the new track/field/stadium complex 1:00pm – 3:00pm – Volleyball 4x4 Tournament – High School Gym $5 per person/$20 per team Can pre-register here: https://or-jefferson-lite.intouchreceipting.com/JHSFallSportsVolleyball It is also located on https://www.jefferson14j.com/ 3:00pm – 5:00pm – Community Softball Game Slow Pitch for all levels – Tee for the small kids Donations taken at the game 5:00pm – 7:00pm – Free swim – Parks and Rec Pool Donations taken at the door 7:00pm – 9:00pm – Community Flag Football Game – Football Field Donations taken at the gate Any community member may play on the community team vs. the JHS Football Team
