    BOE December Work Session Set for Tonight at Play House at WTHS The Washington Township Board of Education's monthly public work session meeting will be held tonight (December 9, 2025) at the Play House at Washington Township High School (509 Hurffville-Cross Keys Road, Sewell, NJ 08080). The executive session is scheduled for 6 p.m., with the public session to follow at 7:30 p.m. Members of the public unable to attend may watch the meeting live on our YouTube channel at  this link . Please note that you must attend the meeting in person in order to participate in discussion.

    Dear Washington Township Public Schools Staff and Community, We are thrilled to announce that we will be launching our new,  redesigned district website  today, Monday, November 24, 2025! We anticipate the site to be up and running by the afternoon. The new site provides  wtps.org  with a fresh, modern look and is the result of a concentrated effort to enhance the online experience for all our visitors. Our primary goal was to make it easier for you to find the information you need with minimal clicks. When you visit wtps.org later today, here are some examples of what you can expect to see: Improved Navigation:  The site is designed for intuitive access to high-demand information. Dedicated Landing Pages:  You will find new, prominent landing pages for  Families, Staff, and Students . These pages are accessible via a static red section along the right-hand side of the main site that remains visible as you scroll. Quick Links:  These landing pages provide direct links to the many departments, programs, calendars, menus, and essential information most visitors seek. Key Section Access:  Also located in that right-hand section are direct links to district  Highlights  (news and press releases) and  Enrollment  (registration, address changes, etc.). Cumulative Staff Directory : Our new Staff Directory page will provide contact information for staff and faculty through a searchable database. Search by name and/or location. Please be aware that visitors should expect some brief downtime today during the switchover process. We appreciate your patience as we complete this transition.   • WTHS Football to Face Passaic Tech in State Champion...

    Washington Township High School Football to Face Passaic Tech in State Championship Game Friday at MetLife Stadium Tickets Available Online and at the Stadium Box Office; Student Fan Bus Added   For Immediate Release November 23, 2025 WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – The Washington Township High School football team will look to make more history when the Minutemen take to the field at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford this Friday, November 28, 2025, in the New Jersey Group V state championship game. South/Central representative WTHS (13-0) will face North I/II representative Passaic County Technical Institute at 1 p.m. at the home of the New York Giants and Jets. Adult general admission tickets for the game are $15 and can be purchased online via Ticketmaster at  this link . An additional processing fee of $3.10 will be applied per ticket. Discounted tickets are available for students (under age 18), senior citizens (over age 65), and veterans and active duty military personnel with valid ID. Those tickets are $10, plus a $2.05 processing fee. IDs will be checked at the gate. All spectators 34 inches tall and under will be admitted free of charge. Admission gets spectators into MetLife Stadium for all four games scheduled on Friday. Parking at MetLife Stadium will be available in Lots E, F, and G for $20, with attendants accepting cash or credit card. Lots open at 8 a.m., two hours prior to the start of the day’s first game. Washington Township High School students are invited to travel to MetLife Stadium in a Fan Bus which will leave from the entrance of the Play House at WTHS (11/12 parking lot) on Friday at 9:30 a.m. Cost is $10, and tickets can be purchased via the GoFan app or  at this link . The bus is expected to return to WTHS at approximately 6 p.m. Please see the attached flyer or contact Director of Athletics Kevin Murphy by email at  kmurphy@wtps.org  for more information.  The Central Jersey Group V champion Minutemen advanced to their first state championship game with a 35-27 victory over Kingsway last Friday night at Tom Brown Field in the South/Central semifinal. WTHS’s 13 wins are a school record. Passaic Tech (10-3) defeated Bridgewater-Raritan, 23-14, in the North I/North II semifinal. The Bulldogs have won 10 of their last 11 games, and this will be their second appearance in the state final. Passaic Tech lost to Toms River North, 23-13, in the 2023 Group V championship game. - WTPS -

    Attention Washington Township Staff and Families: The WTHS Junior and Senior Class Councils are having a holiday spirit store to benefit WTHS TWP Toys. Act fast, as the store closes at 11:59 pm on Sunday, November 30th! All high school orders will be delivered to the staff and  the student's homeroom.  (Be sure to note high school homeroom teacher.)   For those outside of the high school, your orders will be available for pick up from MBM by December 15th.   • Purchase Tickets Online as WTHS Football Visits Will...

    WTHS Minutemen Football Travels to Williamstown Looking to Stay Unbeaten This Friday The Washington Township High School football team will put its undefeated record on the line when the Minutemen travel to face county rival Williamstown on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for students (all students must have their IDs), and free for senior citizens. All tickets must be purchased online prior to arriving at the gate  at this link . Properly identified faculty of both schools will be admitted free of charge. Parking and entrance gates open at 6 p.m., and there will be no re-entry permitted if you leave the stadium.

  • WTSSSPA Stuff the Bus Donation Drive Set for This We...

    The Washington Township Schools Support Staff Professional Association (WTSSSPA) will be holding their annual "Stuff the Bus" donation drive this Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from noon to 6 p.m. at Washington Township High School, and they need your help! The WTSSSPA is looking for food donations of canned vegetables, peanut butter and jelly, skillet dinner packs, macaroni and cheese, pasta, spaghetti sauce, and snack items. Additionally, they will be accepting home goods including soap and shampoo, laundry supplies, paper products, cleaning supplies, baby supplies, and pet food. Gift cards are always welcome, as well!  Bring your donations to the bus parked in the WTHS parking lot at the corner of Ganttown Road and Hurffville-Cross Keys Road, where volunteers will be on hand to assist.
