Ms. Bryant's Message Dear Bobcat Families, As we close out another incredible school year at Bridge Point, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to this extraordinary community. Serving as principal of has been one of the greatest honors of my life. This school has shaped me both personally and professionally in ways I will carry forever. What makes this goodbye especially meaningful to me is the history behind it. Brad Wirht opened Bridge Point in 1997 and later hired me as a first-year teacher in 2004. After leaving the district for a period of time, I returned to Bridge Point in 2013 as a reading intervention teacher before eventually becoming assistant principal under both Brad and Heather Meek. When Heather later moved into a district leadership role in 2021, I was honored to step into the principal position myself. Having the opportunity to serve this community across so many chapters of my career — and alongside the leaders who helped shape Bridge Point from the very beginning — is something I will always treasure. For nearly three decades, there has been a continuous thread connecting the leadership and heart of Bridge Point. While this chapter is ending, what makes this school truly special will continue on. Because the magic of Bridge Point has never belonged to one person. It lives in the teachers who pour their hearts into children every single day. It lives in the staff members who create a safe, joyful, welcoming environment for students and families. It lives in the traditions, relationships, and sense of belonging that generations of Bobcats have carried with them long after leaving elementary school. Every year during Senior Day, I watch former Bridge Point students return as graduating seniors. Without fail, they smile and laugh when I begin morning assembly with, “Please stand. Put your right hand over your heart, and face the American flag.” In that moment, they realize that despite all the ways the world has changed, Bridge Point still feels like home. Of course, over the years we added our own flair — dance parties, Principal 100 Club celebrations, Bobcat Best stickers, and countless joyful memories — but the heart of this school has remained constant: relationships, community, and a deep love for children. Families: Thank you for trusting me with your children. Thank you for your partnership, support, encouragement, and grace through both celebrations and challenges. Your children have brought immeasurable joy to my life, and I will forever treasure the privilege of watching them learn, grow, and become who they are meant to be. I also want to sincerely thank families for the incredibly thoughtful cards, kind messages, flowers, treats, and generous gifts I have received over the past several days. I have been deeply moved by your words and support. More than anything, your kindness has reminded me just how special this community truly is. Staff: Thank you for your unwavering commitment to students and to one another. This community has weathered life together — celebrations, heartbreak, loss, new beginnings, and everything in between — always with compassion and resilience. Students: Thank you for the hugs, drawings, stories, laughter, spirit days, dance parties, and daily reminders of why this work matters so deeply. While change can feel difficult, I have complete confidence in the future of Bridge Point. This school is filled with extraordinary people who will continue carrying forward the traditions, values, and spirit that have defined this community for so many years. No matter where life takes me next, a part of my heart will always belong to Bridge Point. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your story. Once a Bobcat, always a Bobcat. With gratitude, Sheri Bryant Principal

  • May 3: Bobcat Bulletin

Ms. Bryant's Message Dear Bobcat Families, We are officially in the home stretch of the school year as we enter May and our final three weeks together! This season is filled with so many exciting events, celebrations, performances, field trips, and special memories for our students. At the same time, the end of the year can also bring feelings of stress or uncertainty for children. As routines begin to change and students anticipate what’s ahead, they may wonder: Will I move on to the next grade level? Will I do well on my tests? What happens if I struggle? Who will be in my class next year? Will my friends still be with me? These feelings are very normal, and children often need extra reassurance, encouragement, and predictability during this time of year. Below is a helpful resource for families with ideas and strategies to support children through end-of-year emotions and transitions. 5 Ways to Relieve End-of-School Year Stress Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we finish the year strong together! Sincerely, Sheri Bryant 🌟 May Madness is This Friday! 🌟 Get ready, Bobcats — Field Day is almost here, and it’s going to be out of this world! 🚀🪐 May Madness will take place on Friday, May 8: K–2: 9:00–10:45 3–5: 12:15–2:30 Students should come prepared with: Water bottle Sneakers/athletic shoes Comfortable athletic clothing Sunscreen and a hat We strongly encourage families to apply sunscreen before school, as students will spend significant time outdoors. As a reminder, please send only regular sunscreen products. Face paint, colored/tinted zinc oxide, decorative designs, or spirit-style face applications are not permitted at school. Our goal is simply to keep students protected from the sun while ensuring the day remains safe, inclusive, and distraction-free for everyone. Ms. Bryant's Message Dear Bobcat Families, Thank you for making Bobcat Fest such a huge success last Friday! It was incredible to see our campus filled with laughter, connection, and community spirit. Events like this truly reflect what makes Bridge Point so special. A very special thank you to our Booster Club for their time, energy, and dedication in bringing this event to life. We are especially grateful to Brianna DeMike and Ashley Scripps for their leadership and countless hours of work behind the scenes. We appreciate all of our volunteers who helped make the night such a memorable experience for our students and families! As we head into the final stretch of the school year, we have several exciting events coming up. Please take a moment to review the flyers below and mark your calendars—we would love to see you there! Best, Sheri Bryant Class Placement--Due Friday❗️ The 2026-2027 Class Placement Parent Input Form is currently available for you to provide input about your child’s personality and learning style for next year. Class placement is a carefully thought-out process with each individual child's needs carefully considered by many stakeholders. In May, teachers and administrators work collaboratively to build class lists for the following year. We work diligently to balance classes by a number of factors (class size, gender, behavior, academic ability, student personality, teacher personality, etc.). It is VERY important that we have as much information as possible up front BEFORE we make class lists. When parents wait to provide imperative information in the summer, often changes cannot be made or a child gets moved into a class where there is room, with no other factors considered.   Our intent is for each student to be set up for success academically, emotionally, and socially. Please refrain from making specific friend and/or teacher requests, as they will NOT be honored. This form is completely optional and certainly not necessary. However, it is an opportunity for parents to provide input on the best learning environment for their child if they feel inclined. All parent input is due Friday, May 1, 2026. Class Placement Input Form Morning Assembly We love parents at Morning Assembly! Please remember our priority is getting our students and staff to their designated places safely and comfortably. In order for students to navigate the cafeteria, visitors must stand BEHIND the 5th graders in the gym.   If you would like to attend, please RSVP by visiting the BPE Homepage and navigating to Visitor RSVP. We will have your badge pre-printed and you can enter the school with you child through the middle doors. If you forget to RSVP (the deadline is Thursday at noon), you will be asked to check-in at the front office.  Counselors' Corner To get in touch with Mrs. Sherman or Mrs. Buoyer, visit their website for contact information or complete this referral form. Class Placement The 2026-2027 Class Placement Parent Input Form is currently available for you to provide input about your child’s personality and learning style for next year. Library Lowdown Campus Flyers Elementary Summer Academy As we begin planning for summer, I want to make you aware of an opportunity offered through Eanes ISD to support continued student learning. The Elementary Summer Academy is designed for students who would benefit from additional time and support in mastering grade-level objectives in reading and/or math. Instruction is tailored to each student based on input from their current teacher, ensuring targeted and meaningful learning. Registration information, including session times and cost, can be found in the attached flyer. The deadline to register is April 29, 2026. Your child’s teacher knows them best—if you’re wondering whether this opportunity would be beneficial, we encourage you to reach out and have that conversation together. ☀️ Summer Enrichment with BPE Teachers Several of our BPE teachers will be offering summer enrichment classes for students who want to keep learning, creating, and having fun over the break! This summer’s offerings include opportunities in musical theater, art, crafts, cooking, maker space, and sports. These classes are designed and led by our teachers and provide students with a chance to explore new interests, build skills, and spend time with friends in a fun, engaging environment. 👉 Click here to view individual class flyers and learn more about who is teaching, dates and times, grade levels, and registration information.
