May 11: Bobcat Bulletin
Ms. Bryant's Message Dear Bobcat Families, May Madness was an absolute blast on Friday! From water slides and tug-of-war to foam pits and nonstop laughter, it was a wonderful day for both students and staff alike. The joy, energy, and excitement throughout the day made it truly special. A huge thank you to Elizabeth Strong and Coach Mills for all of their hard work planning and organizing such a fun-filled event. We are also incredibly grateful to Shannon Nichols and her amazing committee for their countless hours, support, and dedication to making the day a success. Thank you to everyone who helped create such a memorable experience for our Bobcats! Sincerely, Sheri Bryant 📚 Help Us Bring Our Library Books Home! 📚 As we head toward the end of the school year, our librarian is working hard to reunite our library books with their shelves! Right now, we have 432 overdue books still out across campus. We would greatly appreciate your help by taking a few minutes to check: under car seats 🚗 underneath beds 🛏️ inside backpacks 🎒 on bookshelves and nightstands 📚 Every book returned makes a difference. When books are lost, we have to use campus funds to replace titles instead of purchasing new books and resources for students. Returning books helps us keep these valuable resources available for all Bobcats to enjoy. May 3: Bobcat Bulletin
Ms. Bryant's Message Dear Bobcat Families, We are officially in the home stretch of the school year as we enter May and our final three weeks together! This season is filled with so many exciting events, celebrations, performances, field trips, and special memories for our students. At the same time, the end of the year can also bring feelings of stress or uncertainty for children. As routines begin to change and students anticipate what’s ahead, they may wonder: Will I move on to the next grade level? Will I do well on my tests? What happens if I struggle? Who will be in my class next year? Will my friends still be with me? These feelings are very normal, and children often need extra reassurance, encouragement, and predictability during this time of year. Below is a helpful resource for families with ideas and strategies to support children through end-of-year emotions and transitions. 5 Ways to Relieve End-of-School Year Stress Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we finish the year strong together! Sincerely, Sheri Bryant 🌟 May Madness is This Friday! 🌟 Get ready, Bobcats — Field Day is almost here, and it’s going to be out of this world! 🚀🪐 May Madness will take place on Friday, May 8: K–2: 9:00–10:45 3–5: 12:15–2:30 Students should come prepared with: Water bottle Sneakers/athletic shoes Comfortable athletic clothing Sunscreen and a hat We strongly encourage families to apply sunscreen before school, as students will spend significant time outdoors. As a reminder, please send only regular sunscreen products. Face paint, colored/tinted zinc oxide, decorative designs, or spirit-style face applications are not permitted at school. Our goal is simply to keep students protected from the sun while ensuring the day remains safe, inclusive, and distraction-free for everyone. Thank you for helping us make May Madness a fun and memorable day for our students! ☀️🚀 📚 Help Us Bring Our Library Books Home! 📚 As we head toward the end of the school year, our librarian is working hard to reunite our library books with their shelves! April 26: Bobcat Bulletin
Ms. Bryant's Message Dear Bobcat Families, Thank you for making Bobcat Fest such a huge success last Friday! It was incredible to see our campus filled with laughter, connection, and community spirit. Events like this truly reflect what makes Bridge Point so special. A very special thank you to our Booster Club for their time, energy, and dedication in bringing this event to life. We are especially grateful to Brianna DeMike and Ashley Scripps for their leadership and countless hours of work behind the scenes. We appreciate all of our volunteers who helped make the night such a memorable experience for our students and families! As we head into the final stretch of the school year, we have several exciting events coming up. Please take a moment to review the flyers below and mark your calendars—we would love to see you there! Best, Sheri Bryant Class Placement--Due Friday❗️ The 2026-2027 Class Placement Parent Input Form is currently available for you to provide input about your child’s personality and learning style for next year. Class placement is a carefully thought-out process with each individual child's needs carefully considered by many stakeholders. In May, teachers and administrators work collaboratively to build class lists for the following year. We work diligently to balance classes by a number of factors (class size, gender, behavior, academic ability, student personality, teacher personality, etc.). It is VERY important that we have as much information as possible up front BEFORE we make class lists. When parents wait to provide imperative information in the summer, often changes cannot be made or a child gets moved into a class where there is room, with no other factors considered. Our intent is for each student to be set up for success academically, emotionally, and socially. Please refrain from making specific friend and/or teacher requests, as they will NOT be honored. This form is completely optional and certainly not necessary. However, it is an opportunity for parents to provide input on the best learning environment for their child if they feel inclined. All parent input is due Friday, May 1, 2026. Class Placement Input Form Morning Assembly We love parents at Morning Assembly! Thank you to all of our staff and community members who make BPE such a special place. We are grateful every day for the dedication, heart, and excellence you bring to our students. 💙 Best, Sheri Bryant Class Placement The 2026-2027 Class Placement Parent Input Form is currently available for you to provide input about your child’s personality and learning style for next year. Class Placement Input Form Elementary Summer Academy As we begin planning for summer, I want to make you aware of an opportunity offered through Eanes ISD to support continued student learning. The Elementary Summer Academy is designed for students who would benefit from additional time and support in mastering grade-level objectives in reading and/or math. Instruction is tailored to each student based on input from their current teacher, ensuring targeted and meaningful learning. Registration information, including session times and cost, can be found in the attached flyer. The deadline to register is April 29, 2026. Your child’s teacher knows them best—if you’re wondering whether this opportunity would be beneficial, we encourage you to reach out and have that conversation together. Morning Assembly We love parents at Morning Assembly! Please remember our priority is getting our students and staff to their designated places safely and comfortably. In order for students to navigate the cafeteria, visitors must stand BEHIND the 5th graders in the gym. If you would like to attend, please RSVP by visiting the BPE Homepage and navigating to Visitor RSVP. We will have your badge pre-printed and you can enter the school with you child through the middle doors. If you forget to RSVP (the deadline is Thursday at noon), you will be asked to check-in at the front office. Counselors' Corner To get in touch with Mrs. Sherman or Mrs. Buoyer, visit their website for contact information or complete this referral form.
