District Newsletter - Online Pre-Enrollment 25-26
- Online enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year is now open - We are now enrolling for Transitional Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade. Use the online portal to quickly begin the pre-enrollment process for any student who is new to our district. If you do not have a computer available to complete this form or are having trouble on your phone, the school office has a laptop available for public use. If this is your first time enrolling a student using our portal, you will need to create an account. You will need access to your email to verify the account before you can continue. After entering student information and verifying age you will be asked to choose a school. Muroc Joint Unified School District has six schools serving the communities of Edwards, North Edwards and Boron, five with direct enrollment. West Boron Elementary and Boron Jr/Sr High School serve the areas of Boron and North Edwards and provide transportation in most cases. Bailey Elementary, Branch Elementary and Desert Jr/Sr High School serve the Edwards AFB area and do not provide any transportation for most cases. Enrollment for Bailey, Branch and Desert requires Department of Defense approval for access to Edwards Air Force Base. Required items can be uploaded directly online to the application or you can bring in a copy to the school office. Some items may require a trip to the doctor to be completed. Online Enrollment Application ITEMS NEEDED FOR ENROLLMENT In addition to the enrollment application, you will need the following documents *: * If you are missing any of these required documents, you may still submit the application, but will need to work with your MJUSD school to complete the pre-enrollment process. Proof of Residence Please submit two of the following acceptable documents: Utility service contract, bills or payment receipts (Gas, Water, or Electricity) Property taxes, rental or lease agreement, current rental receipt with address of property on receipt Official government mail (CalWORKS, Social Security, Medi-Cal, etc.) Current pay stub Voter registration Declaration of residency executed by the parent or legal guardian of the student Verification letter from housing agency, landlords or other agencies Proof of Age of Minor Please submit one of the following acceptable documents: Statement by the local registrar or county recorder certifying the date of birth Baptismal certificate Passport Court order When none of the foregoing is obtainable, an affidavit of the parent, guardian, or custodian, or any other appropriate means of proving the child’s age. -Summer Explorers Program Sign Up- April 29, 2025 -It is time to sign up for the district Summer Explorer Program. The summer program will be from June 11 - July 18 from 8-12. It is for grades TK-6 at Bailey or West Boron Elementary. No summer program on June 19 or July 4 as these are holidays. To sign your child up for this program, click on the link below. You do not need to have a google account or sign in to complete the form. Skip the log in if needed, answer the ten presented questions and hit the submit button at the bottom of the form. Federal Impact Aid Survey October 2, 2024 - Complete the Federal Impact Aid Survey to help secure funding for your student's schools - Dear Parent or Guardian: Under Public Law 874, the school district is entitled to funds for the operation and maintenance of our school. In order for us to apply for these funds, we are required to submit the attached Survey. We would very much appreciate your cooperation in providing the information requested and submitting it to your child's school. Should you have more than one child in the school district, please complete a separate survey for each child. THIS INFORMATION WILL REMAIN CONFIDENTIAL This year we will be conducting the survey digitally with ParentSquare.
