Sharpsville 5th grade spreads random acts of kindness

5th Grade gave back to the teachers and our community in our annual RAK ( random acts of kindness day).  Random acts today in the community: We stocked the book box at Breakfast at Tiffany's with donated books We delivered handmade holiday cards to the residents at Mertz Towers. We candy cane bombed the Sharpsville Plaza and DNofrio's parking lots.  We caroled through the businesses at Sharpsville Plaza and were given sugar cookies from DiLorenzo's. We delivered donated blankets to Happy Tales for  Another Chance Animal Rescue. We stocked the blessing box at "Red Roof" Church and donated canned goods/non perishable food items to the Salvation Army.  We also took a quick trip to one of many favorite holiday traditions- Kraynak's Santa land. Back at the school students made cookies and hot cocoa for the teachers/staff.

CONGRATULATIONS DR. TONEY

Dr. Toney was one of 12 finalists for the 2025 NSTOY-PA Teacher of the Year award and the Sharpsville community couldn't be more proud. Before she went to Hershey for the ceremony, the elementary school put together a send-off in her honor. Benjamin Bissell accompanied her to Hershey to present her during the ceremony. We are so grateful to have such a fabulous educator serving our students.

Macie Steiner - WKBN Student Athlete of the Week

Congratulations to our very own Macie Steiner on being named the WKBN Student Athlete of the Week! Macie is averaging 14 points per game and serves as a team captain for the undefeated Sharpsville Girls Basketball Team. Football Impact Award

Each senior on the Sharpsville High School football team chose an individual as their "Impact Award" recipient throughout their entire school years, kindergarten to senior year. These individuals are being honored for the profound impact they have made on each student. Through their guidance, encouragement and unwavering support, they have helped these students grow into strong, resilient young men. The lessons they have shared and the values they have instilled will carry these students far beyond today, shaping who they are for years to come. Thank you for to all who were chosen for being a CHAMPION who made an IMPACT on each of these students lives. 5th Grade Art Club and Band

The 5th Grade Art Club and Band had a fabulous trip to see the Greenville Symphony Orchestra and the Butler Institute of American Art on Tuesday. They were great audience members and did a fabulous job talking about the art in the museum. They represented the school like true Blue Devils.
