School Update - Tuesday, February 16th
Parents and/or Guardians, Good morning! I hope this message finds you warm and well. There are reports of scattered outages throughout our area which are impacting some of our families. I want to reiterate that while many are able to access the virtual learning system without problems, there will be some that are not able to do so. We understand that this weather has caused various circumstances for each household. Those who are not able to access virtual learning will be excused. Our priority is always the safety and well-being of your family. A decision concerning school for tomorrow will be made later this afternoon. There are several considerations when making this decision including road conditions, additional weather activity overnight and the status of utilities (including power, water, and gas). We are in communication with the City of Clyde, and they are keeping us updated on the status of utilities in our community, Thank you for your patience and understanding as we make decisions about school this week. Stay safe and warm! -Kenny Berry

Tuesday, February 16th - VIRTUAL LEARNING ONLY
Clyde CISD Parents and/or Guardians, Clyde CISD will be closed to all in-person learning tomorrow. We will move to our virtual plan as communicated by your child's campus on Friday. The weather we are experiencing is unlike anything most of us have ever experienced. There are reports of blackouts in our region and across the state. In addition, roads are hazardous due to being snow-packed. Our main priority is for our families to stay safe and warm. While we have our virtual learning plan in place for any school closure this week, we understand that circumstances beyond anyone's control may prevent some students from participating when there are outages. Please know that we will offer flexibility during these circumstances. We will be checking road conditions tomorrow afternoon and will communicate plans for Wednesday. All updates will be sent via Parent Square and Abilene television stations. Stay safe and warm!
