Grace's Story How one invitation sparked great generosity. January 21, 2026 Back in 2016... Grace Liu was invited to the Xi Wang Gala by her boss, Jeremy, whose grandchildren attend Hope. That night, Grace was impressed with our school and the impact of the Gala. Last year, Grace came back to the Gala and once again, was inspired by the strong and generous community at Hope. This year, Grace and her husband George are generously donating their Oregon coast vacation home for our Live Auction. Check it out! Who can you invite? A friend, colleague or neighbor? Panda 2025 Design Here is the design that got the most votes from the community!  To keep costs low, it is available in a T-Shirt and Hoodie in multiple colors.  More Pan Pan Options Valley Athletics was able to make a few more Pan Pan design options available on different products. Here are a few items to highlight but there are more options in the store!  Please Note: Once the store closes, Valley Athletics will begin bulk production and decoration. Orders typically ship within 17–20 days after the store closes. Shipping Options: Ship to Home – Delivered directly to your address. Group Ship (Pre-Sorted) – Individually bagged and labeled orders sent Hope for easy distribution. Design Notes:  Mock-ups are for reference only. Final product colors may vary slightly due to screen settings. We may make small adjustments to artwork during decoration to ensure top-notch quality. Ready to Volunteer? Read these requirements.

How to Volunteer at Hope August 25, 2025 Dear Hope Community School starts tomorrow and we are excited to see all of our students! Every year, we ask each family to volunteer a cumulative total of 30 hours. Your volunteer efforts directly improves the school environment for our students and decreases our overall costs. Please remember the following requirements for volunteers: Background Check & Sexual Misconduct Training You must complete these every year. If you have received notice that yours has expired, please do the following ASAP: Fill out the volunteer background check form (background checks must be renewed every two years) Complete the Sexual Misconduct Online Training and email your certificate to programs@hopeccs.org Volunteer Orientation: Sept 10th This year's orientation will be Wednesday, September 10th at 8:45AM in the School Cafeteria. Everyone needs to attend our Volunteer Orientation if you are able, even if you are a seasoned volunteer. This is important for school safety and student safety. Lunch Volunteers: Food Handler's License Will you be volunteering for lunch prep and/or serving food? You will need to apply for a valid food handling license HERE. The State of Oregon requires every food service worker involved in public food handling and preparation to get a certified food handlers card. The food handlers card is valid for 3 years, and you will need to submit a copy to programs@hopeccs.org   Volunteer Opportunities There are so many ways to get involved.
