Today, we are sharing a comprehensive financial update that provides full transparency about where we've been, where we are now, and the decisive actions being taken to move our district forward. What You'll Find in This Update: Proven Leadership: Our Financial Oversight Committee is led by experienced professionals with a combined 15 'A' ratings on state financial accountability reports Honest Assessment: A clear explanation of how four consecutive years of overspending led to our current financial challenges Concrete Solutions: New mandatory purchase order systems, monthly budget reviews, and strengthened internal controls now in place Ongoing Transparency: Monthly financial reports posted online in formats anyone can understand Our Commitment: A detailed plan to restore financial stability and, most importantly, your trust We recognize that rebuilding trust requires more than promises—it requires action, transparency, and accountability. Last Chance To Buy Tickets For The Bulldog Decor Drawing Tomorrow! Bulldogs! Our Hitchcock Education Foundation Christmas Raffle is happening TOMORROW, December 12th at 12pm! Tickets are $2 each or $10 for a book of six, and you can pick them up at the Administration Building before noon or you can purchase them through the Education Foundation (instructions on the graphic). The prize? This adorable collection of holiday bulldog themed decor currently on display at Texas First Bank. All proceeds support our very own teachers, students, and innovative programs across the district. Seussical Recast Auditions - December 10-11 at HHS

Dear Hitchcock ISD Families, Exciting news for our aspiring performers! We're recasting multiple roles for this year's all-district musical production of  Seussical ! Audition Details: When: Wednesday, December 10th and Thursday, December 11th from 3-5pm Where: Hitchcock High School Blackbox Theatre (CTE Building) Who: Any HISD student K-12 (K-5 students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian) How: Sing 60 seconds of any school-appropriate song of your choice This is a wonderful opportunity for students across all grade levels to participate in our district musical production. Whether your child has musical theater experience or is trying it for the first time, we'd love to see them audition! Important Notes: Students should prepare 60 seconds of a song (does not need to be memorized) K-5 students must have a parent/guardian present during auditions Auditions will be held both days from 3-5pm - students may audition either day If you have questions about auditions, please contact the HHS theater department.
