  • Let’s Honor Our State Champion Lady Bulldogs ❤️🖤🤍

Dear Bulldog Families, For the first time in school history, our Hitchcock Lady Bulldogs have reached the pinnacle of Texas high school basketball— State Champions . Their hard work, discipline, and determination have made our entire community proud. Now, we have an opportunity to ensure this historic moment is remembered for years to come. The City of Hitchcock is raising funds to create a  permanent tribute on the city water tower honoring our Lady Bulldogs and their championship season. This project will serve as a lasting symbol of excellence, pride, and what is possible for every student in our district. We invite our families and community to be a part of this effort. Every contribution helps bring this vision to life. 👉 Donate here: https://app.seemylegacy.com/community/55/campaign/8796/overview Thank you for your continued support of our students and for helping us celebrate this incredible achievement in a meaningful way. With Bulldog Pride, Hitchcock ISD ❤️🖤🤍

  • Grief Counseling Support Available for Students Tomo...

Dear Bulldog Families, As our Hitchcock ISD community continues to grieve the passing of Chief Rusk, we want to ensure that students have the support they may need as they return to campus. The district has coordinated with the Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD’s Crisis Response Resiliency Team to provide additional counseling support. Several licensed clinicians will be on campus Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to meet with students who may want to talk or who may be experiencing difficulty processing this loss. Our counselors and administrators will work closely with the response team to ensure students who need support are able to speak with a professional in a safe and private setting. We understand that grief looks different for every student. Some may want to talk immediately, while others may process their feelings over time. If you feel your child may benefit from speaking with a counselor, please encourage them to reach out when they return on Tuesday. Hitchcock High School students who would like to meet with a counselor should check in with the front office or the campus counselor, and they will be directed to the available counseling services on site. This process helps us ensure students receive the support they need while also allowing us to keep track of their location during the school day. Our priority is the wellbeing of every student, and we remain committed to supporting our Bulldog family during this time. Sincerely, Dr. Darryl J. Henson Superintendent of Schools
