    Thanksgiving Break : November 27th -December 1st There will be an Early Dismissal on Wednesday, November 26th. The Jr./Sr. High School will dismiss at 12:23 pm.   The Elementary School will begin parent pickup at 1:15 pm, with buses immediately following.

  • Avella FFA Shines at Trinity Contests

    Avella FFA Shines at Trinity Contests Click post title (above) to open and view full article with pictures. Last Friday, our FFA members traveled to Trinity to compete in two events: the Milk Quality CDE and the FFA Knowledge CDE —and they brought home an impressive set of awards! Milk Quality CDE Results Students completed a 50-question exam and identified various cheeses, milk samples, and milk defects. Our competitors earned outstanding individual rankings among 55 participants: Dakota McCullough – 3rd place Rowyn Scott – 7th place Connor Ruffalo – 8th place Blain Mace – 10th place Ashlyn McDougan – 11th place Their strong individual scores helped us secure  1st and 2nd place as teams:   1st Place Team: Dakota McCullough, Karinne Fischer, Logan Carter, and Rowyn Scott 2nd Place Team: Connor Ruffalo, Ashlyn McDougan, Blain Mace, and Jacob Paradise FFA Knowledge CDE Results Participants completed a 50-question written exam, and our members again excelled with several high individual placements: Gracie Moore – 3rd place Abby Gailey – 5th place Leah Rush – 6th place Quinn Willyerd – 9th place   Gracie Moore and Quinn Willyerd:                                             Test scores were then used to seed teams for a Jeopardy-style competition. After battling through the bracket, Leah Rush, Emma Day, and Abby Gailey emerged as the  championship team ! Congratulations! We are incredibly proud of all students who participated and represented our chapter with excellence. Contest Date: November 21, 2025

  • Crafts & Caffeine at the Eagle Eye Cafe

    Avella Art club is hosting its first ever Crafts & Caffeine event at  Avella Area SD 's Eagle Eye Cafe on Tuesday, December 9, 6:00-7:30pm. This event is highly focused on adult crafters and those wanting a fun evening out with their friends.   • Avella Scholarship Foundation Vendor Show

    This Saturday is Avella Scholarship Foundation's third annual Winter Vendor Show! The event is free to the public! We have approximately 50 fantastic vendors, a Chinese Auction, concession stand, and Santa is visiting!     The Bentworth School District Administration wants to make you aware that they use a weapons detection system upon entrance to the football field. Weapons are not allowed on school property. This includes people with a permit to carry a concealed weapon.
