Your contribution helps students participate in the tournament. [Wednesday, Jan 28 at 4:50 PM] Do you want to enjoy authentic, homemade Indian food and support our Chess Team? Then please stop by Parkway Elementary School in Glendale this Saturday, January 31, 2026, between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. All proceeds will help cover student tournament registration costs and the WSCF fee. A heartfelt thank you to the amazing Milwaukee Indian community, Taste of India restaurant, Jet Pizza, our PTO, and my friends for their generous support. Public schools can offer incredible opportunities like this when communities come together, and we truly love ours. What a great way to enjoy delicious food while supporting our local schools. Friday, January, 23: Cold Day NO SCHOOL (No Virtual Learning) January 21, 2026 Dear Glendale-River Hills Families,, The Glendale-River Hills School District has decided to close school on Friday, January 23, 2026 because the National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Cold Warning for Milwaukee County. This will be a “traditional snow day” and there will be no virtual learning. All afterschool activities will also be cancelled. Just a reminder that tomorrow Thursday January 22, 2026 will be in session. Anna Young Superintendent
