  • Correction on Calendar for Friday, March 13th

    Dear Staff and Community Members, It has come to our attention that the District Calendar contains a misprint indicating that Friday, March 13th is a scheduled half day. This is incorrect.  Friday, March 13th will be a full day of school for all students and staff. We apologize for any confusion this error may have caused and appreciate your understanding.   • Schooltool Parent Portal Information

    SchoolTool is the student information system used by our district. This web-based service is used by faculty and staff to keep track of attendance, discipline, report grades, etc. In addition to faculty and staff access, the service offers a Parent Portal, which allows parents to view data on their children.  We currently provide parent portal access for all students in grades 6-12 upon request. Requesting Parent Portal Access Parents/Guardians can request Schooltool Portal Access through the form link on the top of our district website or by clicking the form linked below: Parent Portal Request Form An automated email from Schooltool will be sent when the account is created.   • 📢 Important Update for the Peru Community: Unused Em...

    Dear Peru Community, As we welcome the spring season, we want to share an important update about how our unused emergency (snow) days affect the school calendar. This year, the District has used only 1 emergency day — great news! This means that school  will not be in session on the following dates: April 28 May 2 May 23 May 27 These days are now official days off, and the District calendar will be updated to reflect these changes.   If anything changes and we need to use another emergency day, we’ll let you know as soon as possible.   We’ll continue to keep you informed as the year goes on.   • Weekend Campus Closure Due to Inclement Weather

    Peru Central School Community, This weekend, Peru, NY, is expected to experience a wintry mix of precipitation. Saturday March 29, periods of sleet and freezing rain are anticipated, with temperatures ranging from a high of 32°F (0°C) to a low of 29°F (-2°C). On Sunday, March 30, morning icy conditions are likely, transitioning to afternoon rain and drizzle as temperatures rise to a high of 42°F (6°C) and a low of 39°F (4°C). Accumulations of 1-2 centimeters of precipitation are possible, which may create slippery spots, especially on secondary roads and sidewalks. Given these conditions, the Peru Central School campus will be closed to all activities   this weekend on Saturday March 29 and Sunday March 30 This closure will provide our grounds crew with the necessary time to clean up and ensure the campus is safe for Monday morning.
