School Safety Protocol
Dear Parents and Guardians, At Peru Central School, we prioritize the safety and security of our students and staff. To maintain a safe and secure environment, we have implemented a visitor identification protocols that requires all visitors to leave a photo ID at the office upon entering the building. When you arrive at the school, please present your photo ID at the office, where it will be securely held until you are ready to leave. In exchange for your ID, the office will provide you with a visitor badge that must be worn at all times while inside the building. Once your visit is complete, please return to the office and exchange your visitor badge for your photo ID. This protocol helps us ensure that only authorized individuals are in the building and helps us maintain a safe environment for our students and staff. We kindly remind you that for the safety of our school, individuals who do not have a photo ID will not be permitted to enter the building. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in this matter. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. Sincerely, Scott Storms Peru CSD Superintendent
