Power Outage and School Closure Friday August 22
Camino Union School District Closure – Friday, August 22 Camino School and the surrounding areas lost power this morning at approximately 6:30 a.m. PG&E has identified this as an unplanned outage and has provided an estimated restoration time of 1:00 p.m. Due to the following conditions: Loss of communication Limited or no food services No technology capabilities Reduced plumbing infrastructure General discomfort in classrooms and buildings We are unable to safely operate school today and will be closed. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this causes families. Ultimately, there are too many safety concerns to allow us to open. Thank you for your understanding, Matthew Barnes

1ST - 8TH GRADE EARLY RELEASE WEDNESDAY
Good Afternoon Camino Parents, This is just a reminder that today, August 20th, is an Early Release Wednesday . 1st through 8th grade students will be released (1) one hour earlier than the normal time. Buses will also run (1) one hour earlier than normal. >>This does NOT affect TK and Kinder they are released at their normal time (2:00pm)<<
