"Hey parents... your teen is being constantly targeted by the Vaping Industry. We at Friday Night Live encourage you to have conversations with your teen about their experience with vaping media, and your knowledge on the health risks of vaping. See our poster for topics of discussion. Let's work together to have a healthy summer. - FNL"
Thank you to all the FFA students and their advisors for helping to make this year's Tehama County Fair one to remember! Not only did our students and advisors help prepare some of the best livestock at the fair this year, but they also hosted the first ever exhibitor barbeque Wednesday night after weigh ins. Corning High School FFA in conjuction with Red Bluff FFA and Los Molinos FFA served nearly 300 exhibitors! Great work everyone!
It is more an important than ever to have your student attend summer school if they are credit deficient. Don't wait until their Senior year, it may be too late. Any student who has received an F is eligible for summer school. Contact the counseling office for more information.
CUHS Families: Due to a variety of COVID issues many of our students need to attend summer school to get back on track for graduation. Summer school offers the fastest way to earn up to 10 credits. CUHS will be providing transportation, meals, and EL support to help close the learning gap. We encourage parents to reach out to your students counselor via email or phone to make sure your student is included in this opportunity. Summer school dates are June 9th-July 23rd (No school on July 5th) from 7:50-12:00. If your student has received any "Fs" this year on his/her semester report card, he/she is a candidate to take summer school in order to stay on track to graduate.
Corning Union High School District Families, As our district continues to prepare for the next school year, we wanted to inform you of an important change. For next school year, the Corning Union High School District plans to move back to full "in person" instruction. Any students who are currently on distance learning will be enrolled in classes "in person" at either Corning High School or Centennial High School for next school year. We are looking forward to having all students back on our campuses in the fall! If you have any questions regarding how this may impact your student or family, please contact Mr. Armstrong at Corning High School, or Mrs. Damon at Centennial High School.

CUHSD is offering free Covid testing at the CUHS Library on 3/1 from 8:00-3:00. This testing is being provided by Tehama County Public Health for any community member in an effort to keep our testing numbers up and, hopefully, reflect a lower positivity rate for the county. If you would like to sign up for a test, please click on the link below and sign up by Thursday, 2/25 at 10:00 pm. You will be contacted on Friday 2/26 to confirm your appointment time.
