PUBLIC HEARING - Textbooks-Instructional Materials 2...

ESUSD The Eastern Sierra Unified School District is announcing A Public Hearing to Ensure Availability of Textbooks and Instructional Materials for the 2026/2027 School Year, at approximately 6:00 p.m., September 9th, 2026 at Edna Beaman Elementary School, 25541 US-6, Benton, CA 93512. The purpose of the hearing is to encourage parents, teachers, members of the community and bargaining unit leaders interested in the affairs of the school district, to participate in determining, as to whether each pupil in each school in the District has, or will have, prior to the end of the 2026/2027 school year, sufficient textbooks and instructional materials in each subject that are consistent with the content and cycles of the curriculum framework adopted by the state board, including English language development.
