Please Complete this form no later than 6 pm on Monday May 16th, 2022. Summer In-person learners DO NOT need to complete this form. Why is this being offered? During normal school years, students can expect to see learning loss of up to 25 – 30 percent of their school-year learning over the summer. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, many experts believe the extended period will exacerbate learning losses. What do parents need to do? Parents will need to Complete this form for each child that would like to participate. Check-in with your child to make sure they are logging into programs at least 1-2 hours a week. You will be asked to return your child’s Chromebook if they do not participate in programs regularly. What does my child need to do? Work within programs already assigned to them through their current teacher at least 1-2 hours a week. This includes programs like Happy Numbers, Moby Max, MemBean, Quill, Read Theory, Prodigy, GetEpic, etc. Students can log in a little each day or for a longer period of time once a week. They can choose what works best for them and your family.
