District News & Announcements School & Community Integration Team Brings Holiday Joy to a Family in Need The Amador County Office of Education’s Department of School and Community Integration joined forces with the City of Jackson and local businesses and partners to create a truly magical Christmas for a local family. Each year, the City of Jackson hosts its beloved Festival of Trees, a community contest where local nonprofits design themed Christmas trees that are later donated, fully decorated, to families in need. This year, the seven-member School and Community Integration team designed a magical “Giving Tree,” adorned not only with lights and ornaments, but with carefully selected gifts, clothing, makeup, toys, and essential items for every member of the family it would eventually reach. The tree itself became a gift. Every branch holding something meaningful; every decoration chosen with intention. Personalized ornaments were lovingly placed among the lights in anticipation of the joy to come. For one family, this Christmas will be a surprise blessing. And for everyone who played a part, it was a reminder that when a community comes together with open hearts, the simple act of giving can become something truly magical.    News From the Community Sheriff's Toy Drive The 2025 Sheriff's Toy Drive is now on!
