IMPORTANT: Digital Equity Survey
Dear Parents, Please take a moment to complete the Digital Equity Survey. The district is required by NYS to collect this information on an annual basis. This survey is very important when it comes to the benefits our community and district receives from both the state and federal level. That includes Free & Reduced Lunch rates and the Affordable Connectivity Program, which can help families who are struggling to pay for internet service. Without this survey, those programs cannot be put into place. There are only two methods of collecting this survey: SchoolTool MOBILE app (not via the SchoolTool website)- this is the recommended method because you only need to fill out one survey for the whole family (simply check the box for each child) ParentSquare- need to fill out one survey per child For SchoolTool Mobile App: Sign into the SchoolTool Mobile App. Once signed in, look under the "FORMS'" popup that will be located on the homepage. You will then be prompted to take the survey. Complete the Survey and then Submit. This method requires you to only fill out one survey for all your children. For ParentSquare: The survey for ParentSquare can be found attached to this message. However, you will need to fill out multiple surveys if you have multiple children in your household who attend the district. (ie. If two children in your household go to school at RCCSD, you will need to fill out 2 surveys) Due to ease, we highly recommend using the SchoolTool Mobile App. The deadline to complete the survey is January 20th. Again, this survey is extremely important and can have a major impact on programs that greatly benefit our community. Thank You.
