Dear Parents & Guardians, We hope you are having a great start to the school year! This year we are not collecting school lunch applications due to all students being able to receive free breakfast and lunch. To ensure that we receive the maximum amount of funding possible to provide the maximum amount of resources to our students there is some information we do need to collect to ensure we receive the maximum funding possible to provide resources to our students.  The link below will ask you specific questions about your household and income levels. When answering, please remember to count all family members in the home, not just the students. Your information will remain confidential and will only be used to determine funding eligibility and no other purposes.  Should you have any questions or concerns regarding this please contact Dr. Anthony Martin  via email at anthony.martin@burtonschools.org or via phone via (559) 788-6418 ext. 10025 .   Here is the link: Alternative Income Form Should you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out to our Student Services Office (559)788-6418. • Road Closure

Burton families, We want to inform you about a road closure that is now in effect on Westfield Avenue, from Westwood Street to Lombardi Street, due to construction by the City of Porterville. This project includes underground utility work as well as concrete and road pavement improvements. Because the work will take place in multiple phases, this section of road will remain closed until September 2025. Please note that this closure will affect traffic to and from our Lombardi campus and may also impact travel to Burton Middle School and the Buckley campus. We know this is an inconvenience, and we apologize for any disruption this may cause. The developer and contractor have assured us they are working to complete the project as quickly as possible. For your reference, we have attached a traffic detour plan to help you plan your route during this time. Please plan accordingly, give yourself extra time, and drive safely. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this together.
