Dear Sunrise Families,
It's been a great couple weeks at Sunrise! A special thank you goes to our wonderful PTA for organizing a visit from The Toy Maker from the School of Toy. Our students participated in an engaging, STEM-focused lesson on exploring the art and science of toy making. Each student had the opportunity to design and build their own toy, applying principles of creativity, problem-solving, and engineering. It was a truly enriching educational experience for all. I also want to thank the PTA and each of our amazing volunteers for hosting a highly successful PTA Neon Social. The event was a fabulous success and a wonderful way to bring our school community together. Thank you for your continued support and involvement in making Sunrise a place where learning and community thrive!
Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place from November 18th–25th. These meetings are a wonderful chance for families and teachers to connect, celebrate each child’s progress, and discuss ways to help them continue to grow and succeed. We encourage all parents/guardians to attend and be part of this important partnership in your child’s learning journey.
In Partnership,
Megan Lenz
Sunrise Principal

Each Sunrise student had fun using STEM to make their own toy!

Sunrise students and families had a blast at the PTA Neon Social playing games, dancing, hanging out in the Chill Zone, and signing the "graffiti wall!"

Please ensure that your students are dressed and ready for outdoor weather conditions every day, as they go outside for recess, rain or shine. Students are expected to wear coats appropriate to the weather. Sweatshirts do not replace raincoats for keeping students dry. Due to safety and space concerns, students are not permitted to bring umbrellas to campus.
In the morning before school, please remind your child(ren) to go to the upper field, even when it is raining.
Students should arrive no earlier than 9:05 a.m.
