Morning reminders for keiki drop-off before school
No ke kakahiaka.. Morning reminders for keiki drop-off before school Aloha kākou! Welcome to Qtr. 2!!! As we begin our second quarter of the year, here are a few reminders for drop-off and mornings, before school begins. Our keiki safety is our main concern and many of these reminders are to help ensure that morning drop-off routines keep our parking lot and driveway safe for all. Hale ʻAina Making sure our keiki have something in their ʻōpū is an important part of starting off the day right. Here are a few manaʻo regarding the Hale ʻAina in the morning. If all of the busses have arrived, the Hale ʻAina ends breakfast service at 7:45am. If all busses have not arrived, the Hale ʻAina stays open until they do so bus riders have the opportunity to get breakfast. If you are bringing your keiki to the Hale ʻAina, be sure to have them in line to get breakfast before 7:45am. Please tell your keiki when arriving at school, if they are going to have breakfast, go directly to the Hale ʻAina to eat and not wander campus and rush in to the Hale ʻAina before it closes. Drop-off Chute Here are a few reminders for the "Drop-off Chute" that is set up in the mornings. The chute is set up for "active" drop-off. When you enter the chute, let your keiki out and then exit the chute quickly allowing othere to drop-off. Please do not park in the chute and walk your keiki to their class. If you want to take them in, please park in a marked stall. Do not drop keiki off in the bus lane on the hill and fronting the flag pole. If you are dropping off, use the chute. Parking Lot Safety Please park in marked stalls only. If you are waiting with your keiki in the lot, keep them in the car until you are ready to walk them in. We do not want to have any keiki walking back and forth in the parking lot during that high traffic hour. If you do not use the chute to drop-off your keiki, please help the cross the parking lot. If your keiki leave your vehicle and need to return to you, please go get them and walk them back. We do not want keiki running across the parking lot in the morning. MAHALO!! MAHALO!! MAHALO!! Thank you all for your cooperation in helping us to maintain a safe environment for our keiki here on campus. By working together, we can continue to improve our kula everyday!!
