Brushing your teeth for 2 minutes 2 times a day is a great way to help keep your teeth in amazing shape. Mass Hearing Screening is Nov 3rd. Vision screening will be done throughout the year. As the seasons change, the weather cools, it’s good to practice hand hygiene as well. Hand washing is the best way to help prevent the spread of germs and viruses. Wet hands, remove hands from water and add soap, lather for 20 seconds then rinse off the soap. Practicing together with the little ones is a good way to develop the habit. If your child is not feeling well, please keep them home. They must be fever free for 24 hours without fever reducing medication and their symptoms must improve before sending them back to school. Using a humidifier at night helps with congestion, as well as nightly allergy medication. Please keep up to date with your child’s immunizations. We will continue to send out notices for those who are not compliant. Proof of current immunizations is required for school attendance under Arizona State Law. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the health office.
