Girls on the Run (GOTR) is a research-based, after-school program designed for girls in grades 3 through 4 that inspires them to be joyful, healthy, and confident. Through engaging lessons that combine physical activity, meaningful discussions, and team-building activities, girls develop essential life skills such as confidence, empathy, goal setting, and resilience. Each season concludes with a celebratory 5K event that reinforces perseverance, teamwork, and a strong sense of accomplishment. Girls on the Run creates a safe, supportive environment where every girl can recognize her inner strength and learn that she is capable of achieving great things—both on and off the course.
