2023 Fill-the-Jar Campaign - Please help grow our community.

Dear BVHM Community:

Thank you for being a part of the amazing BVHM Community. One part of the PTA’s job is to help raise money to pay for crucial activities and services such as Arts Enrichment, Dance classes for K-8 students, Academic Enrichment, our robust garden program and multiple field trips for students; Teacher Support, the PTA provides startup funds for each staff and Middle School coaching funds; and Community and Organizational Support, including 5th grade promotion and 8th grade graduation, and the school’s 40+ year participation in Carnaval. This year our goal is to raise $100,000.00.

BVHM is a community school, and we depend on our community to volunteer to help at community events like Kermes and Carnival. We need student and family volunteers for PTA events like food sales, gear sales, Read-a-thon, and many more events. This year our goal is to have 5,000 volunteer hours from the community.

2023-2024 Fill-the Jar Campaign: October 23-December 1
Weekly Events

● October 26: BVHM gear sales, 9:15-10 am. If we do not have your size, you can pre-order. Cash and credit card payments taken. Learn how gear sales help our garden grow.

● October 30-November 3: Submit your Fill-the-Jar participation slip in the front office. Drawing will be at the November Principal Chat. Two Winners. Each will receive a $25 Target gift card.

● November 6: Coffee & Donuts, 9:15-10:15 am. Learn more about the PTA and let us know what activities you want to see the PTA fund.

● November 17: Pizza sale, 3:30-4:15 pm. Learn all about Bob Armstrong, BVHM Art’s Coordinator.

● December 1: Last Day of Campaign! Happy Hour at El Rio, 4-6 pm. El Rio will give 30% of sales to BVHM.

Volunteer Your Time
We are asking each family to volunteer 17 hours this year. Areas we need help include school tours, March’s Read-a-thon, and help with food and gear sales.
