Cabrillo PTO Annual Donation Drive 2024-2025

Dear Parents & Guardians of Cabrillo Elementary School,
Cabrillo PTO is kicking off our Annual Donation Drive! This week your child will be coming home with a Donation Drive flyer.   100% of your donation goes directly to our students. Cabrillo PTO provides our school with programs to enrich the education of each child and afford services that are no longer covered by the Pacifica School District budget.  Our goal for the Annual Donation Drive is $55,000 of our proposed budget- $131,740. The remainder will be raised through fundraisers throughout the year. However, if each family provides $250 per student towards our budget, we would not need to have any other fundraisers. So please give today and remember to check with your employer matching program!


What do the funds support? 

  • Funds will continue to support Art, Drama, PE, and Library for all K-5 students  

  • For the Upper Grades, 33 weeks of electives and/or elective supplies will be provided to all 6-8 grade classes 

  • Teacher and staff classroom supplies

  • Teacher and grade level events: Family Day, Grandparent's Tea, Walk Through the Ancient World, etc.

  • Educational assemblies for all students 

  • Fun family events throughout the year 

  • Teacher and staff appreciation fund and staff/teacher appreciation week

How much should I give?

  • A one time donation of $250 per student is suggested.

  • If you are able, consider giving an additional amount for families who may need assistance.

How do I donate?

  • Click the Donate button or write a check payable to Cabrillo PTO with "Donation Drive" in the memo and turn into the Main Office.

Can I deduct this donation from my taxes?

  • Yes, you will receive a thank you letter via email. 100% of your donation is tax deductible.
