Cabrillo PTO Annual Donation Drive 2025-2026

Dear Parents & Guardians of Cabrillo Elementary School,
Cabrillo PTO is kicking off our Annual Donation Drive! 100% of your donation goes directly to our students. Cabrillo PTO provides our school with programs to enrich the education of each child and afford services that are no longer covered by the Pacifica School District budget.  Our goal for the Annual Donation Drive is $60,000 of our proposed budget- $135,000. The remainder will be raised through fundraisers throughout the year. However, if each family provides $250 per student towards our budget, we would not need to have any other fundraisers. So please give today and remember to check with your employer matching program!


What do the funds support? 

  • TK-5 grade Art, Drama, PE, & Library supplies
  •  6-8 grade teacher & staff classroom and elective supplies
  • Teacher & grade level events 
    • TK-8th grade Family Day 
    • 1st grade Grandparent's Tea
    • 3rd grade Heritage Day  
    • K-1 grade Math Fair
    • 5th grade Famous Americans Fair
  • Educational assemblies & fun family events for all students 
  • Appreciation fund for Teacher & Staff needs
  • Teacher Appreciation Week -special gifts for your child’s teacher

How much should I give?

  • The ask is $250 per student, which can be paid at once or you can set up recurring payments using PayPal

  • If you are able, consider giving an additional amount for families who may need assistance.

How do I donate?

  • Click the Donate button to donate online

  • You can write a check payable to Cabrillo PTO with "Donation Drive" in the memo and turn into the Main Office.

Can I deduct this donation from my taxes?

  • Yes, you will receive a thank you letter via email. 100% of your donation is tax deductible.
