FAQs for Aeries customers transitioning to direct bill by ParentSquare

To provide your team with greater transparency and fiscal flexibility, we will now be billing Aeries districts who use Aeries Communication (ParentSquare) directly for our services.

Why the change?

This shift is a direct response to feedback from many California districts that are now leveraging diverse, specific funding sources to modernize their tech stacks. By billing directly, we want to ensure you have the autonomy to apply the most appropriate funds to your engagement and communication workflows.

Do you have suggestions on funding sources?

Funding technology tools and platforms can often be challenging, especially when K-12 schools and districts face so many competing priorities and budget constraints. To help your district make use of all the funding sources available to you, we have compiled a Funding Guide that covers how ParentSquare aligns with federal and state legislation and their funding sources.

Has the partnership between Aeries and ParentSquare changed?

No! Nothing is changing in our relationship with Aeries. We remain strong strategic partners, and your seamless integration will continue exactly as it does today. You will still have full access to Aeries data and information via ParentSquare; this change is strictly a billing optimization to help you better tap into the funding sources mentioned above.

When will we receive renewal quotes from ParentSquare?

We will begin sending out renewal quotes the week of March 16. Aeries has given us the billing contacts that usually received quotes for Aeries Communications, so we will be using those contacts.

Who can I talk to if I have more questions?

We’d be happy to hop on a quick call if you’d like to discuss how other districts are categorizing these expenses in their 2026-27 budgets. Feel free to reach out to billing@parentsquare.com regarding this or any of your billing questions.
