Data Privacy Agreements

ParentSquare is committed to protecting the student data that is shared with us, and we follow industry-leading security and privacy practices to uphold that commitment. We have received the FERPA and COPPA certifications from iKeepSafe, and we are proud signatories of the Student Privacy Pledge.

ParentSquare is a member of the Student Data Privacy Consortium (SDPC), a collaborative of school systems and service providers that provides a streamlined process to  complete student data privacy agreements. We are a signatory of SDPC’s National Data Privacy Agreement and various SDPC state-specific privacy agreements.

Once we sign one of the SDPC standard agreements with one district within a state, other districts can “piggyback” on the existing agreement by signing “Exhibit E” of the agreement and sending the exhibit to ParentSquare, eliminating the need to sign a full agreement each time.
