June Website Launch Roundup: Celebrating 200+ New Smart Sites
June was an incredible month for ParentSquare Smart Sites.
As districts across the country prepared for the upcoming school year, our team worked tirelessly alongside school and district leaders to launch more than 200 brand-new websites, helping schools head into back-to-school season with modern, engaging, and easy-to-manage digital experiences.
Every launch reflects months of collaboration, thoughtful design, and a shared commitment to improving how schools communicate with their communities. From compelling videos and vibrant photography to intuitive navigation and dynamic homepage content, each website tells a unique story.
With so many outstanding launches, narrowing down this month’s roundup was no easy task. Below, we’re spotlighting 10 of those launches—just a small sample of the incredible work that happened this month.
School District of Belleville
The School District of Belleville is the very first district to launch one of our newest website designs! From the moment you land on the homepage, their site offers a fun, vibrant energy with bold typography, a full-screen feature video, a sleek icon grid, and a footer that showcases their brand all the way to the bottom of the page.
What we love about their new site:
- A fun, vibrant feature video on the homepage that draws visitors in with scenes from the district’s academic, arts, and athletics programs
- At-a-glance district stats that quickly communicate standout outcomes, including a 92% graduation rate and a 13:1 student-teacher ratio
- Showcase Menus that elevate the navigation experience with images and captions built into the nav menu, making it easy for visitors to find what they need
Boise School District
Boise School District is one of Idaho’s largest public school systems, serving more than 21,600 students across 52 schools. Their new Smart Site is a major upgrade, and the district even issued a press release to announce the launch to the community.
What we love about their new site:
- A compelling feature video front and center on the homepage, reflecting the district’s motto, “Educating Today for a Better Tomorrow”
- A rich at-a-glance stats section showcasing district achievements, such as 74% college going rate and recognition as a Best High Schools by U.S. News & World Report
- A prominent “Enroll Now” button that leads to a dedicated enrollment page, complete with a feature video of students and school life, step-by-step enrollment information, and FAQs
South Seneca Central School District
Located in New York, South Seneca Central School District is a tight-knit community committed to student success across its elementary, middle, and high school programs. Their new website creates an engaging first impression while making important resources easy to find for families and community members.
What we love about their new site:
- A rich photo gallery on the homepage featuring strong school photography, from graduation celebrations to theater performances to band concerts, that brings the community story to life
- Quick access links to each school in the district, making it simple for families to navigate to the right place
- Clear program highlights that celebrate the district’s extended day program, music, drama, and student support systems
Strive Charter School
Strive Charter School is a brand-new public charter school opening in the South Bronx in Fall 2026. Their new website is helping build community and showcase what makes them special before the very first day of school.
What we love about their new site:
- An engaging feature video that immediately draws families in with an authentic look at the school’s vision for what learning can look like
- A prominent apply button that makes it easy for families to apply for Fall 2026 without having to dig through the site
- A clean, informative layout that clearly explains what makes Strive different: flexible hours, evidence-based academics, and free extended programming
Augusta Ahrens Elementary School
August Ahrens Elementary School has been serving students in Waipahu on the island of Oahu since 1924. Their website reflects a school community with deep roots and a forward-looking spirit. The engaging homepage immediately introduces families to the school’s environment and culture.
What we love about their new site:
- A homepage photo carousel showcasing the school’s range of student experiences, from robotics and STEAM activities to community events and performing arts
- A “Who We Are” feature video that gives families and prospective families a warm, authentic look at the school’s culture, staff, and learning environment
- Direct quick-access links for parents to reach 2026-27 school year information, the event calendar, and school meal menus with minimal clicks
Wenatchee School District
Wenatchee School District serves more than 6,700 students in Washington with a strong commitment to helping every student reach their limitless potential. Their new website balances storytelling with functionality, helping visitors celebrate district success while quickly accessing school information.
What we love about their new site:
- A rotating homepage banner with compelling photography and storytelling that covers the full student experience: academics, CTE, arts, athletics, and community
- At-a-glance district stats that anchor the district’s identity: 893 educators, 6,700 students, 15 schools, and 6 core learning outcomes
- A district news section that keeps the community current on important updates, such as bond proposals and free summer meals
Rice Lake Area School District
Situated in Wisconsin, Rice Lake Area School District is proud of both its community roots and its academic reach, including a standout 100% graduation rate. They launched a website that keeps families informed while showcasing district life through engaging visuals and fresh content.
What we love about their new site:
- A “Why Rice Lake?” section that tells the district’s story in a personal, values-driven way
- Celebration of standout district stats, including 150+ high school course offerings, and a 100% graduation rate, highlighted prominently to help families understand what the district delivers
- Quick links to each school in the district, letting families jump directly to their school’s page right from the district homepage
McKinleyville Union School District
McKinleyville Union School District is a TK-8 community in California, known for small class sizes, strong enrichment programs, and a whole-child approach to education. Their new website does an excellent job introducing visitors to the district while making essential information easy to access.
What we love about their new site:
- Beautiful, authentic photography throughout; the imagery is warm, consistent in style, and reflective of the McKinleyville community
- A prominent enrollment button right on the hero so families can’t miss it, making it effortless for new families to take the first step
- Quick-access buttons covering the resources families reach for most, such as Meals, New Student Enrollment, Calendar, and Transportation
Waltham Public Schools
Waltham Public Schools serves more than 5,700 students in this vibrant city. They launched a vibrant new website that celebrates their schools while making it easy for families to stay informed and connected.
What we love about their new site:
- A feature video on the homepage that captures students across grade levels and activities, offering an immediate, visual sense of what Waltham schools feel like from the inside
- Quick-access buttons for the tool families that reach the most, including District Calendars and ParentSquare
- Clear audience-based navigation, with main menu dedicated sections for Students, Staff, and Families, so every visitor immediately knows where to go
Splendora Independent School District
Splendora ISD is a public school district in Montgomery County, Texas. Their new website combines bold visuals with thoughtful organization to showcase the district’s strong sense of community while helping families quickly access important resources.
What we love about their new site:
- A scrolling photo carousel on the homepage featuring real students, staff, and community moments that immediately communicates the district’s pride and energy
- “Did You Know?” component that highlights key facts in an engaging, bite-sized format, such as free breakfast and lunch for all students, and the fact that many Splendora educators are Splendora graduates themselves
- Recognition badges, such as Best Communities for Music Education and Districts of Distinction by the Texas Art Education Association, are displayed prominently to celebrate the district’s achievements at a glance
