Meet Gina Ciuffetelli, the Enablement Manager!

If you had to teach a subject, what would it be?

I was a teacher and administrator for almost 20 years and I loved teaching high school chemistry.

In what ways are you the same as your childhood self?

I am still a massive nerd who loves all things science.

Where did you grow up?

I’m from New York, although I now live in Florida. I absolutely LOVE New York!

Favorite movie and/or book?

My favorite book series is Harry Potter. I love the movies as well!

What is the nerdiest thing you do in your free time?

In my free time, I love to read and knit. I also love to watch movies like “Lord of the Rings.

What teacher impacted you the most? Why?

My 9th and 10th grade science teacher taught me Earth Science and Biology. She reinforced my love of science and made everything easy to understand and fun.

Favorite family tradition?

My favorite family tradition is the Feast of Seven Fishes. I’m Italian and we celebrate Christmas Eve with certain seafood dishes and typically no meat.

What are some small things that make your day better?

Small things that make my day better are hugs from my kids and small notes of appreciation to and from co-workers.

What’s your favorite holiday & why?

My favorite holiday is Christmas. I love spending it with my family and watching the kids get excited to open their presents. The amazing food doesn’t hurt either. 😉

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

If I could only eat one food for the rest of my life it would be fondue. I love cheese and chocolate fondue and you can incorporate so many other foods into it. It’s like many foods wrapped into one!

What do you like most about working for ParentSquare?
