Remind has a very strong following with teachers, and ParentSquare has a strong unified platform for districts and the full school community. Together, we can advance both companies’ mission of increasing student success through improved communications, and do more together than we could have individually. 

Remind is a popular communications platform that focuses on reaching students and families where they are. The Remind platform is home to one of the largest free services in education (the Remind Chat app) and a school communication business that supports millions of students. Remind is used in over 80% of public schools and by 60% of teachers in the U.S. Remind was founded in 2011 and is based in San Ramon, CA.

The combined company will be known as ParentSquare. Remind Chat and Remind Hub will keep their product names.

We will honor current communications contract pricing. We also plan to give customers the option to purchase additional functionality, if it meets their needs.

We will actively work to bring the ParentSquare and Remind platforms together, preserving the best features of both and giving each others’ customers the option of adopting additional features.

Right now, Remind and ParentSquare are separate services, so you’ll have to pay for each individually. We’re actively working on merging them into one unified and seamless solution. We appreciate your patience, as we are committed to being thoughtful in our approach and ensuring we create a top-tier, integrated solution.

As the two companies come together, some roles will inevitably change. We plan no changes to the Customer Success team at this time. You will keep working with the people you’ve always counted on, and we will communicate any changes to you clearly and in advance.
