Meet the ParentSquare Customer Education Team

From the Classroom to Your Screen: Meet the People Who Get It

Did you know that every member of the ParentSquare Customer Education Team is a former educator who used ParentSquare in their own classrooms and schools? Some team members also use ParentSquare as parents as well, engaging with their children’s schools through the same platform they now teach others to use.

This combination of educator and user experience makes the team uniquely qualified and deeply invested in helping schools and districts succeed. Whether you’re attending a virtual training or watching a how-to video, you’re learning from people who understand what it’s like to be in your role.

“The Customer Education Team at ParentSquare knows that effective training is irreplaceable for success in schools and districts. As former educators, we craft each session from a user’s perspective, continuously improving based on direct feedback to deliver the best possible learning experience.”

—Ivana Grimsley, ParentSquare customer education manager

What they do

The education team’s impact goes beyond just leading training. They design and deliver practical, flexible learning experiences for all types of ParentSquare users—whether you’re an administrator launching districtwide or a classroom teacher learning the ropes.

Key responsibilities

  • Live daily webinars and feature-specific Spotlight Webinars
  • Custom on-site and virtual trainings tailored to a district or school’s specific needs
  • Customer-facing how-to videos
  • ParentSquare Academy Learning Management System (LMS) content development and maintenance
  • Seasonal programs like ParentSquare Summer Camp, built to get administrators, teachers (including those transitioning from Remind to ParentSquare) confident and ready to use ParentSquare in the new school year

“I was handed school comms with zero training. I’ve started attending the webinars even if I don’t think I need the topic and have learned so much each time.”

Driven by data, fueled by feedback

Training at ParentSquare isn’t static. The Customer Education Team continually evolves their approach based on real educator feedback. After each training, feedback is collected, reviewed, and used to shape everything from course content to platform improvements.

This responsive mindset recently led to a complete refresh of ParentSquare’s self-paced training courses, resulting in the fully redesigned ParentSquare Academy experience. New courses, simplified structures, and updated videos now make learning even more intuitive and accessible.

And the results aren’t just anecdotal. The team’s efforts consistently translate into top-tier results with a Customer Satisfaction Score (CSAT) of 4.89 out of 5, showing that educators trust this team—with the data to prove it.
